Pneumatic Fender
"hippo" Pneumatic Fenders are manufactured by lining and vulcanising process under high pressure and temperature to ensure adequate bonding with each layer to ensure a trouble-free long life. Having a fully-capable in-house facility, ABC RUBBER PRODUCTS provides manufacturing and testing of "hippo" Pneumatic Fenders strictly per ISO 17357-1: 2014. "hippo" Pneumatic Fenders are offered as Sling Type OR generally equipped with a chain and tyre net assembly, with Automobile tyres or Aircraft tyres depending on the client's requirements. HIPPO Pneumatic Fenders from ABC RUBBER PRODUCTS are available with internal air pressures of 0.5 kg/cm2 (50 kPa) and 0.8 kg/cm2 (80 kPa).

CHAIN-TIRE-NET (CTN) TYPE (AUTOMOBILE TIRE)
“hippo” Pneumatic Fenders fitted with automobile tires are widely used for general applications across vessels, shipyards, naval operations, and ship-to-ship (STS) transfers. They are fast to install and have a long lifespan.
Our net assembly design allows individual tire replacement in case of damage, eliminating the need to replace the entire chain assembly and lowers the maintenance costs.
CHAIN-TIRE-NET (CTN) TYPE (AUTOMOBILE TIRE)
“hippo” Pneumatic Fenders fitted with aircraft tires are primarily used for offshore applications and ship-to-ship (STS) operations. This design is especially preferred in scenarios where fenders are required to remain in continuous operation for extended periods with minimal maintenance downtime. ABC RUBBER also provides specially molded tires for these types of pneumatic fenders.
SLING TYPE
“hippo” Sling-Type Fenders are commonly used on docks, vessels, and large tankers where lower reaction force is required. They are economical, low-maintenance, and designed for quick and easy installation. ABC RUBBER manufactures these fenders in both Black and Grey/White body options.
